Q: Why should I choose CCTV (Closed Circuit
Television)?
A: Retailers use CCTV for monitoring shoplifters and
dishonest employees, to compile evidence against bogus accident claims,
and monitoring merchandising displays in stores that may be hundreds
of miles away. Manufacturers, governments, hospitals, Business and universities
use CCTV to identify visitors and employees, to monitor hazardous work
areas, to thwart theft, and to ensure the security of premises and parking
facilities. Options and opportunities for surveillance are unlimited.

Q:
Should I choose a B/W camera or a Color camera?
A: Black and White is good for low light conditions,
but Color gives a more "real" look. In fact, B/W cameras have
higher resolution than Color Camera. Your personal needs need to be evaluated
before you make your decision.

What are the benefits of the Dome camera?
A: Dome cameras are widely used in department stores and other
locations where aesthetics are a priority. There are 3 major reason why
using Dome cameras: 1) it is virtually impossible to tell where the camera
is pointed, which makes it difficult for would-be camera avoiders to stay
out of the camera's view range; 2)domes that are equipped with a camera,
lens, and PTZ can be augmented with dummy cameras; 3) the internal components
are concealed in a nice clean shell.

What is so great about the World's Smallest Camera?
A: This camera can be used to covertly film people without them
knowing. The size is so small that it can fit into closed palms to make
it virtually undetectable. The picture quality of these cameras is excellent,
just as good as a camcorder.

How do wireless cameras record?
A: In a wireless system, the camera/transmitter sends the signal
to the receiver. The signal penetrates walls and other objects before
the receiver captures it and connects to a VCR for recording. You can
use any VCR for recording and can record up to 8 hours of video on a normal
tape.

What is the penetration ability of the signal through walls/ceilings/objects?
A: Our standard 700 feet LOS (line of site) system can typically
penetrate 6-8 interior walls with ranges up to 400 feet and is designed
to work comfortably in a 5500 square foot home or office. The signal penetrates
most solid objects, including glass, plastic, wood, fiberglass and some
metals. The denser a material, the more the signal is weakened.

A: All of our systems are capable of operating up to 4 cameras
simultaneously on different channels.

designed to connect easily to any video camera so you can get rid of the

Should I use wireless or wired camera system?
A: Wired cameras are optimal for permanent installation of security
cameras. Great care should be taken to determine the positioning of the
camera because moving its location can be very difficult.
Wireless cameras can be used for either permanent or temporary installations.
You can move the camera easily to a different location when needed without
the need to run wires between the camera and recorder.

What is Quad Processor?
A: Quad Processor are devices that let you connect multiple cameras
to a single VCR or monitor. During playback, you can watch all the images
your cameras recorded at once in a split screen mode.

A: Video processors are similar to video splitters. They also
let you connect multiple cameras to a single VCR or monitor. During playback,
you can watch all the images your cameras recorded at once, or change
to a full screen from any of the cameras. Many processors also feature
multiple digital features such as video freeze and zoom, and some include
built-in motion detection. |

Q:
What is the difference between a normal VCR and a security VCR?
A: Security VCRs work very much like normal VCRs. They use the
same tapes, hook up the same way, and have all of the standard features
of today's consumer VCRs. Most importantly, they are just as easy to use.
Normal VCRs can record for up to 8 hours on a T160 VHS tape in EP record
mode. But security VCRs record video and audio for 40 hours on a T160
VHS tape. Some security VCRs can record without audio for longer lengths
of time up to 960 hours on a single tape, but the quality isn't as good
in record modes over 40 hours.
Security VCRs are built with commercial use in mind, with better parts
and high-precision mechanisms to ensure their performance under daily
use conditions.
Security VCRs have additional connections for different types of alarms
that can tell the VCR to start recording when activated. You can also
connect them to motion sensors, heat sensors and complete alarm systems.
Security VCRs do not have wireless remote controls to prevent unauthorized
use by universal remotes. You can also lock their controls up to prevent
tampering by unauthorized users.
Security VCRs do not have TV tuners built-in and are
not able to record TV programs by themselves.

A: When you need to record more than 8 hours of video on a tape.
If you record more than 40 hours of video during a month. For recording
in extreme heat or cold, dusty or otherwise harsh recording conditions.

A: DVR is a term used to describe Digital Video Recording. Unlike
analog equipment, like a tape recorder, VCR, or Time Lapse Recorder, DVR
is pure digital, providing the highest quality surveillance video available.

How do your DVR Cards compare to other cards?
A: Purchasing a low priced DVR card from another company may
appear like a good deal, but not all PCI cards are created equal. Some
competitors used false and misleading performance claims indicating their
products were high speed, when in fact they were not. There were reports
of slow video speeds, blurry images, poor playback features, insufficient
data storage and frequent system crashes, with competitive products that
cost less. We sell only professional grade DVR products. |

What is a key distinction between your DVR products and competitive products?
A: The most important and critical function of any DVR system
is the Video Playback Area. This is 98% of your physical contact with
the system. The majority of competitive DVR products sold today share
a similar weakness when it comes to video playback. Competitive products
store the recorded video in 5 to 10 minute blocks of time. As thefts or
events can occur in less than one minute, the time between each "image
box" typically does not get recorded. This means, the DVR system
may lose valuable data by not recording video between each stored block
of time. Moreover, trying to backup footage beyond 10 minutes typically
requires additional steps to operate. |
Q:
What are the benefits of having a DVR system?
A: DVR can take the place of a security monitor, motion sensors,
time lapse recorder, quad processor, and accessories. Digitally record
all video, and login remotely to see your cameras. |

Does it use videotapes?
A: This is a digital system and eliminates the use of videotapes.
If you are currently spending $50 to $75 a month on videotapes, for about
