Daisy: Future Leader Dog
(A DOG-umentary)

On July 15, 2000 my daughter Jennie and I became volunteer Puppy Raisers for Leader Dogs For The Blind in Rochester, Michigan. Daisy was with us for 10 months, and then returned to Rochester to train formally. After two months, she was “career changed.”
Daisy then trained with Paws With A Cause near Grand Rapids, Michigan so that she can serve people with severe hearing loss or other physical disabilities. She was career changed a second time in the fall of 2001 and came home to be our pet. Sadly, she was career changed for a third time when my mother came to live with us, and now lives with a quilter near Lansing. This is her story.

Click the dog to see how you can get an "almost free" quilting pattern and help two great causes.
