This is a mix of Porcini, Oyster, Eryngii, Sliced Shiitake, Whole Shiitake, Bolete, and Black Trumpet mushrooms. I made this mix from three of my favorite wild mushrooms, Porcini, Chilean Bolete, Black Trumpett, and three cultivated, Shiitake, Eryngii, and Oyster mushrooms. This mix adds unbelievable flavor to soups, gravies and sauces and especially rice dishes. Try them in Scalloped Potatoes, Teriyaki Chicken, or mix into your favorite stuffing recipe. We add them to box rice dishes such as Rice A Roni or Farmland boxed rice. Just soak the mushrooms in hot tap water for about 10 minutes, rinse and chop to size or use our Mix Wild “Pieces”. Add them to the rice when about half the water has been absorbed by the rice. Finish cooking and serve. This makes a great side dish, or even dinner. These mushrooms range from Mild to Strong on the Mushroom Flavor Scale. |
