For those who like the technical riding like myself the only park to go to
is the Terry Wille. It is the mountain bikers dream. If you want to rest
there is a enourmous mansion on the trail.
If you are not the sight seeing type you should check out the trails to
the old light. Some of the most insane uphiils Connecticut has. If you want
to really go and hop you have to go on to the millions of little side
trails.
You have drops, rock ledges and stumps and every little turn. For
Terry Wille you don't have to be the most advanced rider(Unless you want to
have some fun), you just need a good front shock. The first time my bro took
me there, the trails took me out. It is probably the best place to learn how
to be a good mtn. biker. It's a big ass park on the border of Danbury,
Connecticut.
If you plan on going there any time soon make sure you can waist a few
hours on some of the craziest terain imaginable and some of the coolest
trails you'll ever go on.
When I went I did the most amazing endo. First over a 2 foot drop.
Next I hit a flat rock pushing me over the bars and tumbling me down a 60
foot long hill. The bike wasn't far behind me landing on me at the bottom.
Shortened my ride by a lot!
HINT HINT, Make sure your bike is perfectly tuned so that you don't die out
on the middle of the trails.
Your
Trail Buddy,
MtbTerain (Vitold)
